The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 詹姆斯和桑德勒制片，大票球星客串，围绕教练和球员二人及两者家庭的故事属于行活水平，拍得也差强人意，真实和虚构的结合也是主要看点，中间加长的训练段落剪辑不错，干净有力，节奏恰到好处，比较有意思的其实是片子所涵盖的NBA球队的运作体系和商业逻辑，但本片只做到了流于表面的展示，没有深挖内里的阴暗面，也是某种献礼片了（毕竟75周年）
作为一个篮球迷，太熟悉太亲切了。这种1vs1的模式，能够刻画得更细腻些。凌晨四点起床训练，一下子就哭了。
亚当桑德勒不搞笑，演起了篮球伯乐也是个有模有样！影片算是极力宣传了把NBA选秀，有激情有励志有热血！最后球探终于如愿成为助理教练，站在球场上时才能体会心中的梦想！大批NBA球员客串出场，包括杰弗里教练，“J博士”等，好莱坞的电影商业化下的娱乐和体育不分家！
但是自古套路得人心啊！
严格按照编剧套路写出来的一部电影，篮球迷会看得很开心。
没有办法跟《摔跤吧，爸爸》相比，不知道跟《八角笼中》比会怎么样？
