The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 是不是连烂片大王亚当·桑德勒都觉得剧情太无聊了，所以这一部干脆不来配音了？
第一部嫁女兒，第二部當外公，第三部談戀愛，第四部要退休的主題其實算是順理成章的，然而，看似仍然在延續多元融合的主題，實際上淪為一場失控得一塌糊塗的大鬧劇、大爛尾，女婿在這一部裡除了神煩就只剩下神煩了，一個四部了卻毫無成長的角色，Adam Sandler的退出照理應該能省下一大筆錢了，卻沒見動畫把省下的前花在該花的地方。
从第一部到第四部，十年弹指而过。系列动画也逐渐从剧情为主滑向欢乐为主，这一部更是彻底放飞，要的就是五彩绚烂的万花筒、甜蜜可口的爆米花、欢天喜地的合家欢。
在我心目中只有第一部和第三部比较好看。这一部实属有些滑水～
就挺好的ending 本集主打johnny和dracula的塑料父子情谊 但是有一说一johnny的怪兽扮相还是挺可爱的 尤其是他发现自己被骗后 连mavis都拦不住他气成怪兽 就还挺搞笑的
虽然身边这半大小朋友也时不时地笑，但是明显感觉不吸引人了，确实有些虎头蛇尾。
据说是系列的大结局，从1：单亲老父亲带崽历劫，2：孤独男人偶遇真爱 3：女大不中留爱上穷小子，到这一部：不甘退休老父亲终和自己和解。虽然是很俗套的连续剧但吵吵闹闹还是很可爱
虽然我看了很久还是分不清哪个是熊大哪个是熊二，但是我真的好喜欢熊出没！

一如既往的合家欢，和亲密的人一起放松娱乐不会失望，应该是系列最后一部了
这个系列真的是没完没了了…虽然有点吵，也很俗，但是打发时间用还是可以的。
最后那个广告好硬啊。

今年影院看的第二部电影，都是动画片，都成奶爸了
和最近一堆迪斯尼烂动画片比起来，简直太精彩了。想象力惊人，必须五星！

比预期好，比很多国产烂片好。跟外甥女看的，她很开心。

挺好看的。特别是最后小熊二，抱着小时候的女主很治愈。
