The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 拍出了homeless和houseless的不同，非常契合项飙说的「敢于不占有」。但看完我思考最多的，是看望住院病人时送泡面，到底算很亚洲的行为（因为是日清杯面），还是很不亚洲的行为（因为「没营养」）呢……
