Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
阵容这么豪华，拍出来就这。我只能理解是在试验新技术了。
虽然最后我眼眶还是不争气地湿润了，但为什么现在还在拍人鱼公主啊？无语
说这是爆米花都侮辱爆米花了，好莱坞爆米花只是陈词滥调合家欢而已，不是故意摆烂啊。
很开心看到这样的作品，因为这证明了日本动画业界一样有傻x，而且这个病逐渐向老美靠拢了
#6 PYIFF 表演和场景塑造是灾难级别的，仿佛在看电视剧。太假了，毫无可信度。
why 小畑？why泽野？why parkour？why 荒木？why虚渊？why 海的女儿？why you do this to me？
看过之后才明白父母对自己的意义有多么重大，父母是挡在我们和死神面前的人，让我有种看过《入殓师》后的感觉，开始对死亡有了重新的审视。电影采用一场一镜的方式拍摄，大量的长镜头凸现出导演的调度功力，演员的表演也绝对在水准之上，特别是两位老人真挚的表演，让人非常信服。
果然美人鱼的故事让人好失落啊，一分给音乐。
画面，作画，分镜，配乐都是顶级的。就是剧情挺抽象的，分割开每个段落其实都还不错，但是连贯在一起就让人觉得意义不明，脚本优秀一点的话其实是能封神的。
拍的很稳，这是平遥影展这几天看的情感最真的一部电影。某处段落也被感动，作为新导演第一部已经很不错。结尾一镜可以去掉似乎更有力量，当然只是个人想法。
女游泳更衣室那段（但很失真啊，现实中游泳后公共淋浴谁还穿着泳衣啊？），倒是想到了《纺织姑娘》——王全安生活得多，既然进了公共浴室，那肯定是赤裸裸坦诚相见的。
16日，平遥第一场，哭得我筋疲力尽。 ｜ 看了《冰下的鱼》以及情绪稍微平稳一些后，4星改2星，自认是客观的评价了。加油。

三星半，作画很精致很过瘾，音乐很好听，就是故事漏洞不少套路也多，一则现代人鱼寓言，但是男女主对彼此的牺牲和贡献不怎么对等，诗粉身碎骨也换不来与响的厮守，凄美又令人唏嘘
有两个印象很深的画面
平遥目前为止看到最惊喜的片子，泪点很多，抓心挠肝又不矫揉做作，关于生命尊严这件事其实关乎我们每一个人，直击现实，打到你的内心深处！导演的处女作发挥的却十分四平八稳，喜欢！！
为什么多次点开都没看下去，为什么下了这么久都没看完，为什么看的过程多次快进，一切都原因都是太难看了。垃圾烂片
只要在雨中，她就能感知到～
