The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. （7.5/10）洛维对《绿衣骑士》的改编类似《第七封印》和《基督最后的诱惑》的结合，且与其作品《鬼魅浮生》同样都在讨论生命的有限和时间的永恒。高文爵士由被动转主动，从迷茫到认清自己，找到勇气并信守承诺。而洛维又加入了深沉伤感的基调：这些造就伟大的美德在自然法则面前显得微不足道。
布景和打光挺有意思，有那种古老传说的感觉，三星。
美术很棒，有表现主义的风格。如何能成为一名真正的骑士是主人公面临的问题，也是电影想要探讨的。总体像是奇幻元素的公路片。
剧情过于平淡了，狼和狮子的感情倒是让小孩子热泪盈眶。但这基本是动物本身带来的魅力，跟剧本演技无关。
开始以为是科幻、奇幻、魔幻片，后来怀疑是宗教片，最后……这故事有点烂。
查阅了相关故事背景，才看出个所以然。不是很好看，地域文化性过强，艺术手段没多高明，也不怎么深刻。
