The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 沉浸而克制，整部剧作还是欠些许火候，只是，最后一秒还是没绷住。
其实是非常老学校的一部片子。不惊艳，不难看。
好喜欢，平静的接受了命运的不公与自己将会失去曾经拥有过的一切。其实不是科技让人变得更好，而是人性中善良的那部分吧。

可能不是在卖设定，而是在讲人性。演得很稳，对新技术的憧憬、惧怕、憎恶，对家人的爱与不舍到放手都精确呈现，很惊喜的是奥卡菲娜演得很有角色信服感的同时又有自己的性格在。另外影片美术就真的很apple，外加一些黑镜味儿。然后，憋着不杠设定真的有点难受，不过既然也不是那种奔着票房去的强目的性片子，就算了。

惊叹，马赫沙拉阿里真的是黑人演员中的绝对翘楚，新一代的领军人物。他真的，一次都没让我失望过。甚至次次都能或多或少地超出一些预期。即使这次的故事文本极其平庸。
不适感会有 但故事还是理想化了 所以处理的很好 结尾真的很扎心啊……
