The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     故事如此简单却融入了大数据监控，疫情封闭，女性议题。全都是热门话题，作为网络电影的话简直太会抓热点了。它最大的好处就是短，让节奏不拖沓，一个现代版后窗。社恐女性如何自救，面对大数据和资本我们该如何自处，电影给了我们一个理想化结局，所以说作为网大还是爽到的。在个人信息完全暴露的时代，依然还是需要看什么样的人以什么样的目的去用，所以仍然是共存的态度，即便不完全赞同，也无法拒绝这个时代了。

    大数据疫情时代包装下的犯罪片，导演还是想表达数据化带来的信息无处不裸露在外的惊悚也如同Angle极其敏感的表演一样。中间有场戏镜头把她影得很小，紧贴着墙走出寻求安全感，外界环境放大为噪音污染，摄影机好似尾随窥探的运动，妙用楼梯、机房、长廊等场景压迫感、窒息感、恐惧感表现淋漓尽致。
