The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 跟马力克比还是差了。比较出彩的部分是偏纪录片的一些片段，借了所谓的真实力量的光。那些所谓马力克式的镜头和剪辑、凝视镜头、科恩嫂的表演，都是按照独立电影的教科书拍法，靠着配乐制造情绪。
习惯了流浪，便再也无法停下上路的脚步。整片给我一种忧郁的诗意，在西方式的框架下，却也蕴含着东方式的哲理。上路的勇气总要大过无房的恐惧，而家的意义就在寻找的路上。

我们哪里能真正明白美国的房车文化。 过于艺术片看的让人困乏 全程都是因为科恩嫂顶着才不至于睡着。
没有工作、家庭、金钱、房子的时候我们如何生活，为何而活。也许只有失去这一切、甚至主动放弃这一切的人，才是那在暴风雨中乘风破浪奋力翱翔的倔强海鸥，才最接近生命的真谛。诗意又有趣，悲伤又温暖。
年轻时是冇脚雀仔，年迈后入无依之地，所有的意义答案终究只在路上，足迹只可印在未来。
